EXOS at Commercial Space Week 2026: Connecting, Learning, and Advancing the Industry

This January, the EXOS team had an incredible time at Commercial Space Week 2026 in Orlando, Florida - a week-long series of industry-defining events that brought together innovators, operators, policymakers, and service providers from across the commercial space ecosystem.

Our trip kicked off with the 11th annual GSA Spaceport Summit, an integral gathering of global spaceport leaders where conversations centered on how spaceports act as economic engines and critical hubs for the future of launch infrastructure. Panels touched on emerging launch markets, evolving capital trends, spaceport funding mechanisms, and the expanding role of inland and coastal facilities alike.

Following that, we connected with space industry partners and prospects during SpaceCom | Space Congress, the central expo and conference for Commercial Space Week. This dynamic event featured a bustling expo floor, insightful keynotes, and deep-dive technical sessions covering everything from policy and infrastructure to emerging technologies and operations.

What We Took Away

  • Valuable Partnerships: We reconnected with old friends from across the industry and met many new contacts - from potential collaborators on tanks and structures to key stakeholders in advanced launch and spaceport initiatives.

  • Meaningful Conversations: From discussions about charter enterprise and spaceport buildouts to early-stage technology and manufacturing alignment, the week was packed with substantive dialogues that will concretely shape our roadmap.

  • Momentum for Midland and Beyond: We’re especially excited about the traction around the Midland Spaceport project and the connections we forged that will help unlock future opportunities there.

It was energizing to be surrounded by so many forward-thinking professionals and to see firsthand how the ecosystem continues to expand and innovate. We’re already following up on dozens of conversations and look forward to sharing more as those relationships turn into collaboration.

Here’s to another successful Commercial Space Week - onward and upward!
